FAQ
How do you teach at Cantabrium?
Our founders shaped a distinctive educational philosophy: every journey at Cantabrium begins with the learner. Each student enters a genuinely transformational process of co-directed learning, guided closely by an elite academic mentor. We design personalised learning experiences built around each student’s pace, style, and ambitions. After a detailed consultation with students and parents, we create a programme that blends independent learning, small-group collaboration, and one-to-one mentorship.
What is the Cambridge Experience, and why is it different?
For centuries, Cambridge has shaped many of the world’s leading thinkers. Cantabrium offers students access to methodologies rooted in this tradition, helping them develop rigorous learning habits and intellectual curiosity.
What are the Cantabrium Ways of Learning?
Every learner is unique. We guide students to discover their own approach to thinking, problem-solving, and self-directed study. All staff at Cantabrium are lifelong learners, and we seek to instil this same spirit of inquiry in our students.
What does an Academic Advisor do?
An Academic Advisor shapes and oversees a student’s long-term development. They coordinate programmes, ensure coherence between activities, monitor progress across the year, and serve as the family’s primary point of contact. Their focus is strategic planning rather than day-to-day mentoring.
How is an Academic Advisor different from Cantabrium Care?
All students receive an Academic Advisor. Cantabrium Care provides a more intensive level of support with additional time and closer oversight. It is more specialised, drawing on multiple mentors for academic development, university guidance, and well-being, while the advisor offers broader coordination.
