About Cantabrium

Cantabrium Scholars was founded to bring the spirit of genuine scholarship into modern education. Our mission is to help talented students learn by doing to explore real problems, work with real data, and build real projects under the guidance of experts. Learning here is active, practical, and experiential. Students don’t simply study ideas; they work with them, test them, and turn them into meaningful outcomes. Cantabrium draws its name and inspiration from the University of Cambridge, and is led by Cambridge alumni who bring that academic culture into everything we do. Our mentors include researchers and PhD graduates trained at Cambridge and other leading universities, ensuring that students learn within an environment shaped by genuine scholarly rigour. We carry forward the values that defined our own education: integrity, curiosity, disciplined thought, and the belief that young people achieve their best when they are trusted to take ownership of their learning. At Cantabrium we always seek the unique. Our close relationship with Olympic athletes allows us to draw the very best ideas from the very best sports persons across the globe. Our Cantabrium Olympians give students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a culture of winning and to understand how to be successful through long-term challenges. They are dedicated to supporting students so they are in the best position to face and overcome whatever lies ahead. This foundation shapes an educational environment spanning advanced Research Experiences, international Summer Schools, personalised Care and Mentorship, and professional Internships. Across all programmes, students develop confidence through practice — by doing the work, not just hearing about it.

Our Philosophy

Our Philosophy

Our Philosophy

At Cantabrium, leadership is expressed through mentorship and example. Our team blends academic precision with creative problem-solving, bridging classical educational values with the demands of a fast-changing world. Our pedagogy is grounded in learning by doing. Students gain intellectual autonomy not through memorisation, but through action: exploring ideas, building projects, conducting analyses, testing hypotheses, and communicating results clearly. • In Camlight Summer Schools, they encounter university-level subjects and industry-relevant business studies through practical workshops and collaborative challenges. • Across the G2 Scholars Programme, they work with Cambridge-trained supervisors to produce tangible academic outputs. • In Camnova Professional Pathways, they gain exposure to real professional business environments through simulation and real life cooperate environments connecting theory with execution. • Through Cantabrium Care, they receive structured academic mentorship, pastoral support, and university guidance. Learning at Cantabrium is rigorous, personal, and transformative: a bridge between school-level study and the world of real enquiry, creation, and practice.

About Cantabrium

About Cantabrium

Each Cantabrium student works with a dedicated Academic Advisor responsible for guiding their long-term academic trajectory. The Advisor helps families select and sequence programmes, monitors progress across activities, and serves as the primary point of contact. Academic Advisors do not provide day-to-day mentoring, but ensure that all elements of a student’s experience fit into a coherent, well-considered plan.

Founders

Founders

Cantabrium Scholars was co-founded by David Gloucester and Evgeny Goncharov, whose collaboration began while representing Cambridge alumni organisations. They realised that serious academic experiences and high-quality real-world exposure, particularly research and internships, were rarely available in a coherent, well-designed format for young people. Cantabrium was created to change that.
